Yolanda Relief Operations!

THE LITTLE SWALLOW'S OPLAN BAYANIHAN

The Little Swallow & HanCole Group would like to thank all our volunteer staff from HanCole as well as our close friends and business associates for promptly joining us in our efforts in order to quickly respond to the immediate needs of the affected families in Tacloban, Leyte & Guaian, Samar. Thank you also to our partners in transporting of these goods: Seagate, Phil Army, Balesin.

Our 1st batch of relief goods has been dispatched as early as Tuesday morning thru Phil Army C130 Plane and have been distributed in Tacloban yesterday. Our 2nd and 3rd batch has also been dispatched today using smaller aircraft for distribution tomorrow at Guaian, Samar.

P.S. We are sharing these photos--not to trumpet what we have done, but to extend our deepest thanks to all the people who helped us and to assure them that we have acted quickly and responded to the urgent needs of the affected families. Not next week. Not next month. But as early as November 10-14 which is the most crucial time.

What we did together may not be much considering the scale of destruction and the hundreds of thousand of people who needs help, but at least we did something urgently and did not just remain as passive spectators...

THE BAYANIHAN SPIRIT LIVES ON!

Nov 14-Nov 16, 2013--Distribution of 2nd batch of relief goods to Guiuan, Eastern Samar...

It's a relief to see the smiles on their faces as they receive the relief packs we so lovingly and urgently prepared for them.... Precious... Thanks to all our friends who helped us help them...

Thanks also to Mr. Diaz & Balesin, to Seagate, to the Phil Army, to Compassion Intl, and to Operation Blessing for helping us in the transportation and actual distribution of goods in those affected areas (Tacloban, Guiuan, & Bantayan).... At the end of the day, it does not really matter to us who gets the credit... What matters is that we all worked together as effectively and efficiently as we could to bring those relief goods promptly to those in need...

Thanks ever so much to all our friends and partner-NGO and all the people who made this all possible...
